Evidence

Halo‑IQ is evidence‑first. We ingest tool‑agnostic operational evidence (not declarations), track freshness and coverage, and maintain a clear inventory of what is present, what is missing, and what is stale.

Evidence is treated as a first‑class object with provenance and lifecycle — so decisions can be defended later without relying on memory, screenshots, or “best effort” narratives.

TrueState™

TrueState™ is Halo’s deterministic posture model. It normalises diverse evidence into a consistent view of what is true across key control domains — designed to be explainable, reproducible, and auditable.

The goal isn’t a dashboard. It’s a posture that can be used to make decisions and drive action — with confidence tied to evidence quality, freshness, and coverage.

Determination

Versioned rules produce determinations such as Protectable, Conditional, or Not protectable. Each outcome is explainable: which evidence was used, which rule logic applied, and what must change to improve the position.

Every meaningful determination leaves a contemporaneous record — designed to answer three questions reliably: what did Halo know, what did Halo decide, and why did Halo decide it?

Protection

Protection is the operational outcome: actions required, protection status, and a continuously updated view of whether required conditions are being maintained — updated as evidence changes.

This is what makes the model continuous: when the underlying operational reality changes, the evidence changes, and the protection position can be re‑determined with a new decision record.
